Artic Echo Sessions #12: Valix

In this weeks episode, we have the trondheim-based DJ and producer Valix emerged from the underground scene with his high intensity relentless drop-heavy techno during the 2010’s. In recent times, he has expanded to a wider spectrum of electronic music, playing anything from bass house, melodic techno and peaktime techno, to schranz, hardstyle and hardcore, at locations such as Rockheim, KUK, Havet and Kristiansten Festning. Signing with One Floor From Heaven in 2024, he has toured with them in northern Norway and shared the stage with Mauro Picotto at their flagship event in Trondheim. With roots in trance and hardcore gabber, and an openminded willingness to try new things, Valix enjoys putting together sets that fuse the old and new while not going easy on the intensity.
