Arctic Echo Sessions #22: Roger F

Roger F (Dj Rabbit at the beginning of ’76.) Started his career at Fagernes Tiger Club ’76. Played there until ’81. Then to Oslo and started with the management “Janick artist”. There was a lot of traveling around the country, and have therefore played at most clubs in all corners of Norway. Also became resident dj in Molde at “Nobel Dancing” and “Bonaparte” in Gjøvik. Can also name big clubs that later became part of everyday life. “Tiffany Oslo”, “Baccus Oslo” & “Josefine”. After that, the trip went abroad. To name a few: Albir, Spain. Club Ocio, Murcia. Ushaia beach club, Ibiza. Club ezzigi, Club Void, Bulgaria.

Have worked with everything that can be called dj equipment. The best time was when the Technics 1200 arrived and mixing became my thing! Music genres and artists to name a few: pink Floyd to Disco, House.. and now my great passion which is Melodic House/Techno/Organic House.

Roger F is also the founder of the “Hjertøya Festival”, which started in 2017 on Hjertøya outside Molde. Unfortunately, as it is a museum out there now, we did not have the opportunity to hold it there anymore. So now the Festival has moved to Reisvoll in Innlandet. In the beautiful Trevatn wellness park.

Roger F has been serving danceable rhythms since ’76 but has not thought and given in and served good rhythms to the people!
